Selecting a picnic table with attached benches is often the safest selection with small children since they aren't able to turn over the benches. However, as they get older, a table with attached benches doesn't offer the flexibility that a table with detached benches does. In regards to material, a polyresin table give you the easier option in regards to keeping it clean. Spills just wipe up or get washed off by rain. Where a cedar or natural wood table will need to be attended to right away when a spill occurs. If you don't mind a little attention and upkeep, the beauty of natural wood is appealing to all ages.
