Teak is one of the lowest-maintenance woods you can put by a pool. You can leave it alone and let it weather naturally to a soft silver-gray, or wipe on teak oil once a year if you'd rather keep that warm golden color. If that's the direction you want, we always recommend cleaning your chaises or hosing them down and allowing them to dry before applying your teak oil. Either way works fine structurally; it really just comes down to which look you like better.
