Thank you for your question. These do come with the material in the seam that you push through the channel to replaced the slings. You can reference the assembly/replacement video on our product page to see what it looks like. Please know that these slings ONLY fit the Woodard Furniture. It will not fit other brands and because they are all made to order, they are not returnable. If the above applies to you, the last step is to measure according to our diagram to insure that this still works for your chair as some styles have slightly changed over the years.
