Please see below dimensions:
The center section has a clearance of 14 3/8 inch (36.5 cm)
Tee side sections have a clearance of 13 5/8 in (34.5 cm approx.).
The side sections are 4 inches each.
So you have a clearance of 14 3/8 inches for 23inches.
And a clearance of 13 5/8 inch for 4 inches on each end.
If you disregard the apron because you can slide something in between the apron sides – the maximum clearance right in the middle section (inside the apron)_ is 16.5 inch.
